December System Updates

Western ITDS and our external vendors undergo regular, scheduled IT upgrades and maintenance to ensure platform security and continuous improvement to all of the Library digital services. Regular maintenance periods are scheduled to minimise the impact on the vital operations to all students and staff. Thank you for your understanding, while we undertake this essential system maintenance.

System notifications for this month are:

3 – 4 December, minor impact to Library Study Hall WIFI connection 

The Western ITDS Network Team has informed us of a minor update happening this week that will affect some Library Study Hall users at Bankstown and Parramatta South campuses. 

From 6pm, Thursday 3 December to 3am, Friday 4 December, the following services will be affected for approximately 30 minutes:

  • Western Wifi & Eduroam
  • All Western Guest Wifi service.
