Welcome back on campus to all Library Clients
Physical access to our eight campus libraries is now reinstated to all our Library clients including Alumni, community members and reciprocal borrowers.
Due to COVID restrictions easing, it is no longer necessary to tap or swipe into our libraries with a current Western ID card. During Library opening hours the doors will now automatically open on approach.
We look forward to seeing all Library clients back on campus.
Please be aware opening hours or access may be subject to change at short notice in line with government restrictions and university advice. We will do our best to communicate changes quickly through the Library website news and social media channels.
QR Code Check In
Before entering the Library, please remember to check in using the QR code at the Library entrance. If you do not have a QR code enabled phone, look for the short web address on the entrance signage and check in via a device browser such as Google Chrome, Safari or FireFox etc.
Maintaining A Covid Safe Environment In The Library
We encourage you to observe physical distancing and the maximum numbers allowed in enclosed spaces in the Library. Thank you for your assistance in keeping our libraries COVID safe.
Library Student Group Study rooms are open with restricted numbers. Please:
- do not exceed the number of people displayed on the signage for the room
- maintain the required physical distancing between people
- restrict the number of people you gather with in the open study spaces
- do not exceed the number of people displayed on the signage for the open study area booths.
