ORIENTATIONThis relationship starts during Orientation week when Liaison Librarians attend all School Orientation sessions to introduce themselves so students have a familiar face in the Library. They also show a snappy power point presentation designed to entice students to explore our information discovery services and do a Library tour.
Orientation tours are designed to familiarise new students with the physical facilities and services of their campus library and also introduce them to the Library website and basic searching and online services and resources.
Alternatively students can do a virtual tour. Library homepage assistance includes Jumpstart a basic 'getting started' site for new students, Tutorial Central suite of online tutorials.
