Module 6 - Plagiarism

In Module 5 you learned how to manage, record and cite the information sources and references you have located.
Proper referencing and citation is not just a courtesy to the original author, it is an infringement of copyright laws not to do so under Copyright Act 1968.

The purpose of Module 6 is to help you:

  • Understand the moral and legal rights of authors;
  • Understand what plagiarism is and how to avoid it;
  • Understand the UWS policy relevant to plagiarism.
