New method for access from outside UWS

Improved access for UWS students and staff to library databases has been introduced this semester

From outside the UWS network, it is now possible to access databases and electronic journals without the need for a long list of passwords.

A single login using the "Off Campus Access" link will provide seamless access to the majority of electronic databases and electronic journals

Login is not required if accessing from within UWS, or via UWS dialup services. It is also possible to search the catalogue without logging in.

When accessing via a private ISP (eg Telstra BigPond, AAPT) simply select "Off Campus Access", follow the login instructions, and use the site as normal, linking to the multitude of services to which the Library provides access. A small minority of services may still require passwords, to ensure we comply with license terms. These may be obtained from any of the Library Information Services staff members
