Parramatta library refurbishment

The Parramatta campus library will be extensively refurbished prior to the start of Autumn Semester 2009.

The refurbishment, to take place from late November 2008 to early February 2009, will provide six new group study rooms, hundreds of additional study seats, more computers and a new study environment for students.

Designated noisy study areas on the ground floor of the building will be complemented by defined quiet study areas on the new lower ground floor and mezzanine levels.

Each area will have a mixture of study booths, open tables, individual comfortable seats and study carrels. More power outlets will be provided for use for laptops and other electronic devices.

The library will not be open to students during the main construction period, however services will continue to be provided from a temporary location outside the library building. All attempts will be made to minimise impact on our clients while these exciting new study spaces are created.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time, and welcome any feedback via the Contact link on this site.
