Where do I find??
This is the time of year when most students are juggling multiple assessment tasks.
The Library is here to assist with print and online resources you need to complete your essays and assignments.
Read on for some helpful hints ...
A great place to start is by checking your reading list in the
Classic Catalogue. The catalogue will help you locate books and links to online articles which your lecturer has recommended.
Second port of call should be
Search Central. Search Central will help you locate additional information by providing a single search interface so that you can search a wide range of the Library?s scholarly databases and journals with ?Google-like? ease. A great starting point to find material and identify specific databases for more detailed searching.
Another useful tip is to look at the relevant
e-resource page for your area of study. These pages highlight some of the useful e-reference sources, databases, e-journals and websites relating to particular discipline areas.
And don?t forget that help is always at hand?.experienced librarians staff all of our campus library service points for all of our
opening hours and our contact centre,
Information Central is accessible by phone, email and online chat throughout these opening hours too.
If you want to know more about finding information, have a look at our interactive
Successful Searching tutorial.
Good luck with your assignments
