Congratulations Kathie Collins, OAMIn the 2008 Australia Day Honours announced on Saturday 26th January, Kathie Collins, Loans Coordinator at Penrith (Ward) Campus Library was awarded an Order of Australia Medal (OAM).
Kathie's award was "For service to local government and to the community of Blacktown through a range of sporting, charitable and civic activities?.
In addition to her full time position in the Library, Kathie also serves on the Blacktown City Council, Chairs the Blacktown City Relay for Life, Cancer Council NSW is a member of the Blacktown Hospital Board and the Adult Education Board - along with many other public roles.
UWS Library staff warmly congratulate Kathie for this well deserved award.
