Temporary suspension of ScienceDirect email Alerts 14-21 JanuaryScienceDirect are implementing FAST technology to improve performance and functionality. In order to effectively implement FAST, all Search, Citation and Topic Alerts will be temporarily suspended from 14-21 January.
During this one-week period you will not receive any of your Alerts emails and they will instead be delivered the following week, after 21 January. Users should make a print off their queries before January 14 and test the same queries following the implementation of FAST to ensure results are consistent.
As with any conversion there can be differences due to a change in the way the language works and users are advised to check their searches and modify as necessary.
ScienceDirect apologises for any inconvenience.
