Citation Tracking Tools
No single database covers all works that cite other works. You will need to search in several databases for maximum coverage of citations on any specific work.The two core databases for citation searching are Scopus and Web of Science. Google Scholar is a useful multi disciplinary guide but the information needs to be verified by other sources as the quality control of the data is not as vigorous as that done by subscribed sources. CiteSeer is a scientific literature digital library and search engine that focuses primarily on literature in computer and information science. Citeseer lists citations to articles where available.
