Journal Rankings - The Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) initiative.

The ERA will assess research quality within Australia's higher education institutions using a combination of indicators and expert review by committees comprising experienced, internationally-recognised experts. One measure by which each institution will be evaluated is the quality of publication outputs of its academic and research staff. A list of quality journals will continue to inform the evaluation of publication output for ERA 2012, but the journal rankings will be removed. When the 2012 list of journals and conferences within each Field of Research (FOR) code is announced it is best accessed through a site moderated by Deakin University
