ABOUT ENDNOTE

EndNote is a program for storing and managing bibliographic references available to current staff and postgraduate students. EndNote allows you to import references from library catalogues or other electronic databases, and to search, edit and integrate referencing into a Word document.

OBTAINING ENDNOTE

UWS staff on campus should see instructions in the EndNote FAQ.

UWS staff and students can download one copy of the software to a personal computer from the library website:

  • From Resources select Downloads.
  • Select the Login link and enter in your MyUWSAccount details.
  • Select the relevant operating system.

Note: After downloading the EndNote file, you must 'unzip' or 'extract all files' before running the installation. It is recommended, you uninstall previous versions of EndNote before installing the new version. You may first wish to make backups of your libraries, style files and filter files.

Installation instructions can be found on the EndNote FAQ page.
