Borrowing

UWS staff and students have access to the full range of collections across all UWS Libraries.

Availability

Most items are available for Intercampus loans.

The following items are unavailable for intercampus delivery:

• Reserve Room material
• Not for loan materials
• Special collections

How to borrow from other UWS libraries:

BOOKS

In person
If the item is unavailable at your 'home' library, you may go directly to any campus library which has a copy available and borrow the item. You must have no overdue items or outstanding fees payable.

Items may be returned to any UWS campus library.

Intercampus delivery
Library courier service is available to bring materials from one campus library to your requested campus library. There is no charge for this service.

Requesting
Items may be requested through the Library Search Box Request link, or via the Library Catalogue.

Requests cannot be placed by clients with overdue items and/or fees $10 or greater.

JOURNAL ARTICLES

Copies of journal articles held in print form only at a campus Library other than your home library are available for delivery via email.

To request an article from another campus library:

• Check item is available in the Library catalogue.
• Place request via the catalogue for items that are available, using the 'Journal Article Request - Intercampus' option.
